Course Objectives
An advanced language course designed to develop overall language skills and to enrich cultural insight through the literature of different genres. Literature is the cultural canvas of a society. Reading modern Hindi literature and translations of vernacular literature from various states in India enhance the understanding of Indian culture and society.
Course Structure & Syllabus
Eligibility: Students who have successfully passed the Visharad Examination are eligible to enroll in this Praveen Poorvardha Course.
Duration: 6 months intensive course designed to advance proficiency in Hindi language skills.
Curriculum Highlights:
- Study of Literary Essays of eminent Hindi writers
- Critical Analysis of a Hindi Novel
- Study of Hindi stories
- Hindi Drama
- In-depth study of Hindi Literature from inception to modern era
Assessment
The final examination comprises three written papers, each carrying 100 marks:
Paper 1
Focus on Literary text, stories, Novel etc
Paper 2
Emphasis on Literature, Vernacular stories in Hindi, History of Sabha
Paper 3
Regional Language
